Hi, I’m Jerry Farnham, though many around here know me as Maine’s Blue-Collar Author.

I was raised in the lobstering community of Boothbay Harbor, where I spent my early summers working as a sternman on my father’s boat. After serving as a military veteran, I returned home with a deep appreciation for the working-class spirit of coastal Maine—a grit and authenticity that I bring straight to the page in my fiction.

I’m the author of the Red At Night book series (Red At Night, Red in the Morning, First Light, and Last Light). As a passionate champion of local communities, I take pride in focusing my work on independent, brick-and-mortar bookstores across New England.
